Lancaster County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a rollover crash at Southwest 92nd and West O Street near the town of Emerald around 3:20 Thursday morning. Chief Deputy Ben Houchin says when they arrived the car was upside down in a ditch, but the 27 year old driver was gone.
“He stated after the accident he did walk home.” The man lives near the scene of the crash. Deputies cited the man for careless driving, leaving the scene of a property damage accident and no seatbelt.
In addition to the vehicle, Houchin says a mailbox was damaged in the crash. No one was hurt.
