Lincoln Police were called to an alarm call at G&G Smoke Shop at 734 S 27th Street around 3:00 Tuesday morning. When officers arrived, they found the front door had been forced open, however, no one was located inside the business. The owner arrived on scene and viewed the security video showing two people running through the store and kicking at an interior storage door.
The would-be thieves then fled the store without gaining further access. There was an estimated $500 damage to the two doors and there does not appear to be a loss of property.
