Another big concert announcement for Lincoln was made Monday. Country supergroup Alabama will bring their 50th Anniversary tour to the Pinnacle Bank Arena. The Marshall Tucker Band will join them onstage.
Alabama has sold 80 million albums and have had 43 number one hits, including 21 #1 singles in a row. The group is the most awarded band in the history of country music and are members of the Country Music Hall of Fame and have their own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
With hit singles like “Heard It In a Love Song,” “Fire On The Mountain,” “Can’t You See,” and “Take The Highway,” The Marshall Tucker Band earned seven gold and three platinum albums. “They called us a Southern rock band, but we have always played everything from country, jazz, blues, rock & roll, and all things in-between. As we’ve become older,” long time lead singer Doug Gray says “our Southern heritage seems to come out even more.”
Tickets go on sale Friday, June 18th at Ticketmaster.
