Lincoln Police say a 42 year old woman is facing charges after two homes and a camper were burglarized. Officer Erin Spilker says on June 12th around 8pm, police were called to an investment property in the 2300 block of D Street when someone heard voices coming from inside a vacant property.
Officers arrived and located 42-year-old Corrine Kucera inside. The property owner indicated that she did not have permission to be in the home. She was arrested for trespassing at that time. On June 13th around 2pm, officers were again called to the 2300 block of D Street on a burglary in a neighboring house owned by the same man.
He reported that he came by his property to check security and found that someone had broken a window to get inside the house. Police say vintage baseball cards and jewelry were taken from the house. The property owner also reported that someone had forced entry into a camper that had been parked behind the residence.
When officers checked the camper they found Kucera inside. Officers observed a prybar inside the camper that was used to gain entry. Officers also located the stolen cards and jewelry taken from the house in Kucera’s belongings. Officers also located a glass pipe with methamphetamine residue.
Kucera was arrested for Burglary, Possession of Burglar’s Tools and Possession of a Controlled Substance.
