The Lancaster County Sheriff says a UPS driver left behind a trail of destruction after a crash Wednesday afternoon near south 96th and Panama Road in Holland.

Terry Wagner says the driver lost control of the truck around 4:30 p.m. “Struck a parked car causing about $15,000 damage, struck a utility pole that did about $3,500 damage and then struck a house south of Panama Road on 96th Street.”

Wagner says damage to the house was nearly $30,000 and there was about $10,000 to the UPS truck.  The driver, a 37 year old Lincoln woman, was cited for careless driving and having an open container of alcohol in the vehicle.

She was processed for DWI but Wagner says she tested under the legal limit.
