An arrest is made in the stabbing of a 21 year old woman stabbed in the face around 10 a.m. Saturday May 29th inside a home at 28th and R Street.
Lincoln Police say the victim was able to run to the home of a nearby relative for help and she was taken to a hospital for treatment. The victim and witnesses say they were inside 27 year old Deltre Steele’s home when he became upset and went into the kitchen and grabbed a knife. Two women ran but Steel followed and caught up to one of the women and stabbed her in the cheek.
Steele also had to be transported to a hospital for unknown injuries. He was then booked for assault and on weapons charges. The investigation continues.
