The Faith Coalition of Lancaster County is bringing back its annual Community Interfaith Thanksgiving Service following a two-year absence. On Sunday, Nov. 20, at 3:30 PM, residents of all faiths – including non-Christian traditions – are invited to attend the event at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints at 3000 Old Cheney Rd.

Clergy from many different faiths and readers of various traditions will take part, and the community is encouraged to come and meet people from religious and cultures they may not otherwise have the chance to meet. A reception will take place after the service, and attendees are welcome bring desserts and treats from their background. Those taking part will also be able to donate money to the Food Bank of Lincoln.

Being the first service of its kind since November 2019, this year’s event is a service of gratitude and Thanksgiving. Those who would like to take part but can’t make it in person may watch via Zoom from the Faith Coalition of Lancaster County’s website. A video of the service will be available there after its conclusion.
