Lincoln Police were called to a home in the northeast part of the city on May 8, 2021 to investigate a belated report of sexual assault. Officers contacted the parents of juveniles who reported the sexual assaults. LPD investigators coordinated efforts with the Child Advocacy Center and followed up on the initial reports.
Investigators learned that there were four victims, ages 15, 12, 11 and 10, all females, reported being sexually assaulted between 2017 and 2021 at multiple locations within the city of Lincoln.
The victims identified the same suspect and later police identified him as 63 year old Andrew Casad of Lincoln. Officers contacted and interviewed Casad on Thursday, May 20th and developed probable cause to arrest him. Casad was cited for 3 counts of 1st degree sexual assault of a child and one count of 3rd degree sexual assault of a child. The investigation continues.
