Lancaster County Election Commissioner Dave Shively reported to KLIN News that voting has gone smoothly throughout the county.
“There haven’t been many issues,” said Shively. “I haven’t seen an excessive number of phone calls to our office, today, either, which either means people know where they need to go vote or they’re used to the process that we have.”
Outside of Lancaster County, Civic Nebraska reported few problems to speak of. One of note, however, was that after polls opened at 8 AM, voters at one Douglas County polling location received only one of two ballot pages. The problem was resolved by 8:35 AM.
KLIN’s live election coverage will begin once polls close at 8 PM.
