A chaotic scene in a north Omaha neighborhood Halloween night as a man drove through a barricaded area and was shot by a police officer.
The incident happened during an annual Halloween block party that attracts hundreds of people to the Minne Lusa neighborhood
Omaha Police Lt. Neal Bonacci says a car was seen driving recklessly through a blocked-off area shortly after 7 p.m. The driver was shot by an Omaha police officer who was at the event and taken to Nebraska Medical Center with serious injuries.
Police say no kids or adults were hurt in the incident.
