A suspect is being sought after a man was assaulted during what Lincoln Police describe as a “wild” party near 23rd and Orchard around 11:00 Saturday night. “When officers arrived, they were told an unknown man had ‘pistol whipped’ a 22-year- old man and stole his firearm,” says LPD Public Information Manager Erika Thomas.
They later contacted the victim at the hospital who had a large laceration on the top of his head requiring stitches. The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information is asked to call Lincoln Police at 402-441-6000.
They can also call Crime Stoppers at 402-475-3600.
