Lincoln Police are investigating a camper fire late Wednesday morning that hospitalized two people. Just before 11:00 a.m. Lincoln Police and Lincoln Fire Rescue responded to a camper fire near 8th and South Streets. LFR Public Information Officer MJ Lierman says a bystander went inside to rescue a woman found in the camper.
Both were taken to the hospital for treatment. Lincoln Police say the woman’s injuries are considered life threatening. Her identity is unknown at this time. The investigation is ongoing. More information will be released as it’s available.
