The Lincoln Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in locating a missing 42-year-old man who was last seen early Monday morning in southwest Lincoln. LPD says Daniel Maurer was last seen at the U Stop at 110 W. ‘O’ Street around midnight on June 22 wearing the black windbreaker and jeans.
LPD says his facial hair is a goatee, not a beard as seen in the original image. Maurer is described as 6 feet 1 inch tall, weighing about 200 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.
According to police, Maurer walks with a limp and has mental health conditions that require medication. Anyone who sees Maurer or has information about his whereabouts is asked to contact Lincoln Police dispatch at 402-441-6000. In an emergency situation, call 911.
