Ashland-Greenwood offensive lineman Barrett Kitrell committed to join Nebraska’s high school recruiting class of 2027 Monday. The brother of former Cornhusker Bo Kitrell and the son of former Nebraska fullback Barry Kittrell, Barrett Kitrell selected the Huskers over Iowa, K-State and others. Barrett Kitrell is ranked as a three-star prospect by most outlets. He’s the 20th commit in Nebraska’s 2027 class, continuing a flurry of activity on the recruiting trail for the Husker staff in the month of June.
