Three Class of 2027 prospects committed to Nebraska while one prior pledge decommitted in a flurry of recruiting activity Sunday, wrapping up a busy weekend in which the Cornhuskers had five class of 2027 players pledge their services.
Three-star tight end Joey Hunter (6-foot-5, 255 pounds) and three-star linebacker Joey Harris (6-foot-1, 205) are both Georgia natives and continued Nebraska’s strong work in the Peachtree state. The Huskers also flipped a commit from a Big Ten rival, as edge rusher Ma’atoe Moe, a three-star from Utah, decommitted from Minnesota to pledge to the Huskers. Nebraska picked up five pledges during a busy visit weekend from 2027 prospects.
The Huskers did lose a player from the Class of 2027, as wide receiver Kaden Howard flipped his pledge to Georgia Tech. The 5-foot-10, 160-pound wide receiver attends the same high school that Jacory Barney, Jr., graduated from in Florida.
