Lincoln Police were called to College View Church at 48th and Prescott around 9:15 Friday morning after receiving information about a possible bomb threat.
LPD Public Information Manager Erika Thomas says officers responded to the scene and worked with federal, state and local partners to determine if the threat was legitimate.
LPD Officers blocked traffic in the area for a short time during the investigation. At this time, Thomas says they do not believe there is a public safety concern. The church is located on the Union Adventist University campus.
