Lincoln Police say a one vehicle crash killed a man in SW Lincoln Friday morning. LPD Public Information Manager Erika Thomas says it happened around 7:00 on a bridge over Salt Creek near Speedway Circle and Park Blvd.
“The vehicle hit a cement barrier and flipped over,” Thomas says. The driver, a 56-year-old Lincoln man, died at the scene.” LFR says a powerline was also damage in the crash and the SUV ended up on the embankment of the creek.
Investigators are trying to determine what caused the crash.
