Lincoln Police say one person was hospitalized following an early morning shooting near 55th and Franklin. LPD says says when officers arrived around 3:15 a.m. they made contact wit the victim, who told them an unknown person had kicked in his door and shot him.
The victim was transported to the hospital with non life-threatening injuries. Police say no arrests have been made, but they do not believe there is an ongoing threat to the public. Anyone with information regarding this case is invited to call the non-emergency number at 402 441-6000.
