Nebraska freshman pitcher Alexis Jensen dominated Indiana, throwing a two-hit shutout to lead the No. 2 Cornhuskers to a 5-0 win over the Hoosiers in the Big Ten Tournament semifinals Friday in College Park, Md.

Jensen, named Big Ten Freshman of the Year earlier in the day, struck out 12 while allowing just two hits and a walk against an Indiana team that has averaged over eight runs per game. Jensen set the tone early, striking out the first six batters she faced.

Nebraska jumped out to a 1-0 lead in the bottom of the first. With one out, Hannah Coor bunted for a hit, then scored when Hannah Camenzind blasted a double off the wall to left. Then in the fourth, Lauren Camenzind drove in a run with a single to right. Jordy Frahm followed with an RBI single to right, pushing the lead to three. A Coor sacrifice fly drove in NU’s fourth run, more than enough support for Jensen in the circle.

With their 20th straight win, the Huskers now advance to the Big Ten Tournament final, where Nebraska will face UCLA Saturday in College Park, Md. Pregame coverage begins at 11:45 a.m., with first pitch at noon on B-107.3.
