Lincoln Parks and Recreation Department announced Monday that the Beal Slough Disc Golf Course near 60th and Pine Lake Road is ranked as one of the top courses in the world for the third straight year,
Out of more than 17,000 courses worldwide, Beal Slough is ranked 73rd in UDisc’s annual World’s Best Disc Golf Courses Top 100. The course was ranked 88th in 2024, 70th in 2025 and is the only Nebraska course in the list.
UDisc also ranks it as the 48th best disc golf course in the United States. “We’re excited to see Beal Slough ranked 73rd on the list of the world’s best disc golf courses. This is the third time the course has earned a Top 100 ranking” says Maggie Stuckey-Ross, Parks and Recreation Director.
“This honor a reflection of the strong and growing disc golf community in Lincoln and across Nebraska. We’re especially grateful for the Lincoln Flying Disc Club volunteers, whose dedication and passion have helped shape the course and make recognition like this possible.”
The Beal Slough 18-hole course opened in 2021 and is rated as challenging to very challenging. The par 62 course features five layouts for various skill levels. A practice area includes two standard baskets, a marksman basket, two warm up nets with concrete pads, and a 500-foot driving range.
Lincoln has four other disc golf courses, Bethany Beginners Course, Max E. Roper Park East and West, and Tierra Park.
