The Nebraska State Patrol has arrested an Omaha teacher as part of an ongoing child exploitation investigation. NSP Public Relations Director Cody Thomas says around 6:15 Wednesday morning investigators served a search warrant as part of the investigation and arrested 47-year-old Matthew Lund at his home.
Lund was booked into Douglas County Corrections for possession of child pornography and distribution of child sexual abuse material. Lund is a teacher at Andersen Middle School in the Millard Public School District.
The investigation is ongoing, but Thomas says at this point there is no indication that any students are victims in this case. Anyone with information about this case or any other related to child exploitation is urged to call the Nebraska State Patrol at 402-479-4049.
