The Nebraska volleyball team rolled in its first three sets at Creighton Friday, winning 25-19, 25-18 and 25-15. In a fourth bonus set, the Bluejays defeated the Cornhuskers, 25-15.
But the first three sets belonged to the Big Red. Nebraska outhit Creighton, .386-.144 and outblocked them, 6-4. In the first three sets, Teraya Sigler led the Huskers with 10 kills. Andi Jackson and Harper Murray both had three blocks. Bergen Reilly and Campbell Flynn split setting duties, with Reilly piling up 17 set assists and Flynn 14 assists. Jaya Johnson led the Bluejays with seven kills.
In the fourth set, the Bluejays outhit the Huskers, .276-(-.075). Ayden Ames and Trinity Shadd-Ceres both had three kills in the bonus set to lead CU.
Nebraska closes its spring schedule Apr. 25 in Chadron, Neb., against Northern Colorado. First serve is slated for 1 p.m., with pregame coverage at 12:30 p.m. on B-107.3.
