Nebraska Athletics says it will donate all ticket proceeds from Saturday’s spring football game to aid Nebraska wildfire relief efforts. “Nebraskans always step up in times of need, and we want to do our part to help our fellow Nebraskans affected by these wildfires,” says Nebraska Athletic Director Troy Dannen.
Four major wildfires have burned nearly 750,000 acres of land in central and western Nebraska. Governor Jim Pillen has issued an executive order to provide emergency relief. Kickoff for the spring game is set for 11:00 a.m.
Tickets are on sale at Huskers.com/Tickets. General admission tickets are $10 through this Friday. They will be $20 the day of the game.
