The Nebraska men’s basketball team will face Iowa in the South regional semifinal round Thursday at 6:30 p.m. at the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas. Pregame coverage will begin at 5:30 p.m. on KLIN. The game will also be telecast on TBS and TruTV.
The game is the third matchup between the Cornhuskers and the Hawkeyes. On Feb. 17 in Iowa City, Iowa, Iowa defeated Nebraska, 57-52. Then in the regular season finale, the Huskers won in overtime, 84-75.
The Hawkeyes won their way into the game with a 73-72 victory over South region No. 1 seed and defending national champion Florida Sunday night, Nebraska defeated Vanderbilt 74-72 Saturday in Oklahoma City to advance to the Sweet 16 for the first time in program history.
