The Nebraska men’s basketball team found out its NCAA Tournament assignment Sunday night. The Cornhuskers (26-6) were selected as the No. 4 seed in the South Region and will play Troy (22-11), the champions of the Sun Belt Conference regular season and tournament championships Thursday in Oklahoma City, Okla.
Nebraska qualified for its second NCAA tournament in three seasons during a record-setting 2025-26 season in which the Huskers tied the school record for wins in a season, broke the school record for conference wins in a season, and acheived its highest-ever ranking in the AP Poll, fifth.
