Lincoln Police says an autopsy was scheduled Wednesday morning for a body that was discovered along Oak Creek on Tuesday. Sergeant Chris Vollmer says the call came in just before 1:00. “Workers with the Lower Platte Natural Resources District were doing some cleanup along the creek and located the deceased individual.”
Vollmer says they have confirmed the man was middle-aged man, but his identity is not yet known. LPD says a preliminary investigation indicates the body had been there for some time.
