Nebraska men’s basketball coach Fred Hoiberg was named Big Ten Coach of the Year by his fellow coaches to headline the Cornhuskers’ haul of honors from the conference after the 2025-26 regular season.

Freshman guard Braden Frager was named Sixth Man of the Year, while Pryce Sandfort was named first-team All-Big Ten by the media. Sam Hoiberg and Rienk Mast were named honorable mention All-Big Ten by the media. Frager was named to the Big Ten All-Freshman Team, while Sam Hoiberg was named to the Big Ten All-Defensive Team.

The media named Sandfort second-team all-conference, while Sam Hoiberg and Mast were named honorable mention All-Big Ten.

The Huskers now prepare for the Big Ten Tournament in Chicago, which begins Tuesday, though Nebraska will not play until Friday after NU finished second in the league to earn a triple bye.
