Hoiberg signs three-year contract extension at NU

Five Nebraska wrestlers advanced to the Big Ten Championships finals, propelling the Cornhuskers to a third-place finish in the conference championships, the third straight year that Nebraska has finished in the top three.

Brock Hardy (141), Antrell Taylor (157), Christopher Minto (174), Camden McDanel (197) and AJ Ferrari (285) all finished as runners-up in their weight class. LJ Araujo (165) finished fifth, adding a sixth top-five finisher.

Silas Allred finished sixth at 184 pounds, while Jacob Van Dee finished eighth at 133 pounds. Kael Lauridsen took seventh at 125 pounds, clinching his bid to NCAAs.

The NCAA Championships are March 19-21 in Cleveland, Ohio.
