Lincoln Transportation and Utilities (LTU) has announced that portions of three streets are scheduled to close beginning March 7, 9, and 10. The closures are as follows:
- “Y” Street between 17th and 19th Streets will close from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday, March 7, and Sunday, March 8, for utility work. The recommended detour is North 17th Street to North Antelope Valley Parkway to Vine Street. StarTran Route 42-Bethany will be detoured during this work.
- Randolph Street between 37th and 40th Streets will close beginning Monday, March 9, for private sanitary sewer repair. This work is scheduled to be completed by Friday, March 13. The recommended detour is 40th Street to “A” Street to 33rd Street. Access to homes in the area will be maintained. StarTran Route 53-SouthPointe will be detoured during this work.
- Northbound South 48th Street between “A” and “C” Streets will close beginning Tuesday, March 10, for private utility work. This work is scheduled to be completed by Tuesday, March 17. The recommended detour is “A” Street to 40th Street to Randolph Street. Access to homes in the area will be maintained. StarTran Route 53-SouthPointe will be detoured during this work.
