Several golf carts were damaged by a spreading grass fire around noon Saturday just south of 14th and Adams. “Six Nebraska Golf and Turf golf carts received some under carriage damage,” Lierman says. “The heat extended to them from the underside of a fence.”
Lierman says the fire was sparked by an unattended campfire in the area. Total damage is estimated at $2,000.
