The No. 12 Nebraska men’s basketball team rolled to an 82-67 win at USC Saturday, breaking the school record for wins in a regular season with its 25th of the season.

Pryce Sandfort led the Cornhuskers (25-4, 14-4 Big Ten) with 32 points on 12-for-21 shooting, including 5-for-10 from three-point range. Braden Frager added 17 with eight rebounds, while Rienk Mast tallied 11 points. The Trojans (18-11, 7-11 Big Ten) were paced by Alijah Arenas and Chad Baker-Mazara, who scored 14 points each. Kam Woods contributed 12 while Jaden Brownell scored 10.

Nebraska shot the ball much better from the perimeter (35 percent, 8-for-23 to 19 percent, 4-for-21). The Huskers also dominated the glass, winning the rebounding battle 41-25. NU also won the second-chance points battle, 19-5.

USC led by as many as seven in the first half. But a Pryce Sandfort layup late in the first half sparked a 14-2 run, and Nebraska had take a 43-38 lead with 17 minutes to play. A 15-0 run in the middle of the second half opened the Huskers’ advantage to 66-46 with 8:46 to play and all but doomed the Trojans. Nebraska led by at least 12 points the rest of the way.

The Huskers will stay on the west coast to play their final road game of the regular season, Tuesday night at UCLA. Pregame coverage begins at 9 p.m. with the tipoff at 10 p.m. on KLIN.
