Nebraska pitcher Hannah Camenzind was named Big Ten Pitcher of the Week Monday by the conference office.
Camenzind earned two wins in two starts for the Cornhuskers, throwing 10 shutout innings. Friday against Hawaii, Camenzind threw a five-inning no-hitter, then threw five shutout innings against Seattle yesterday as Nebraska run-ruled the Redhawks, 9-0, in six innings.
Camenzind is the first Husker to earn conference pitcher of the week this season. Jordy Frahm grabbed the last Nebraska Big Ten Pitcher of the Week honor May 5 of last season.
