Lincoln Police gave an update Wednesday morning on a crash Tuesday morning that killed 67-year-old Michael Lief of Lincoln. LPD says Lief was the lone occupant in a truck that went off of Cornhusker Highway near Russell Circle and struck a tree.
Lief died at the scene. Investigators are still trying to determine what led to the crash. Anyone with information about this incident, including video recordings, is asked to call LPD at 402 441-6000.
No other vehicles were involved.
