Lincoln Crime Stoppers is asking for the public’s help identifying suspects in two separate cases of vandalism.

The first case occurred on Tuesday, Jan. 27, 2026, at a local hospital.

LPD Video Forensics Technician Becky Keller said the victim in this case went to visit a family member at the hospital, but after leaving a few hours later, she found someone had keyed the passenger side of her car.

Security video was reviewed and a woman carrying a baby in a car seat was located on camera leaving the hospital and causing the damage to the vehicle before she got into her own car and left.

The suspect was driving this darker colored Chrysler 300 C.

Photo and video from the incident are available below.

The second case occurred on Wednesday, Jan. 28, 2026, in the area of 10th and “E” Streets.

Keller said the victim in this case called police in the afternoon to report his car had been vandalized overnight. He told officers he was parked near his apartment building when, just after midnight, his Tesla’s built-in cameras captured a man with a sharp object stabbing his tire 13 times before walking away.

The victim said he didn’t know of anybody that would be upset with him, and through our investigation we feel he may have been targeted just for driving a Tesla.

Photo and video from the incident are available below.
