Lincoln Police say one man is in the hospital and another in jail following a Saturday afternoon shooting.  Officers were sent to the area of S 12th and E Streets on a report of gunshots heard in the area.  When officers arrived, they found a 43-year-old man that had been shot multiple times.

He was taken to the hospital and his injuries were found to be non-life threatening.  LPD says the investigation into the incident identified 40-year-old Paul Kon as the person responsible for the shooting.  Kon was found in the area of S 11th and D Streets and arrested at 8:00 p.m. without incident.

Kon was taken to jail and booked for 1st degree assault, use of a weapon to commit a felony and possession of a deadly weapon by a prohibited person.
