Lincoln Police have cited a driver following a crash near the roundabout at S. Coddington Avenue and W. ‘A’ Street Friday night. “A tan 2007 Lexus SUV driven by an 81-year-old Lincoln woman had just exited the roundabout when the vehicle struck a 62-year-old Lincoln man on his bicycle crossing Coddington near the pedestrian crosswalk,” says LPD’s Erika Thomas.
“The cyclist was taken to the hospital with critical but non-life-threatening injuries, including a brain bleed.”
The driver was cited and released for negligent driving and operating a motor vehicle without a license.
