The search this week for 27-year-old Harrison Schreurs of Lincoln has ended in tragedy “Investigators working on the missing persons case analyzed phone data and searched an area in rural Saunders County on Thursday,” says LPD Public Information Manager Erika Thomas.
“They located Harrison’s vehicle at the bottom of Rock Creek, west of Ceresco.” Thomas says his body was found inside. “Our condolences go out to his family and loved ones who have been searching for him alongside LPD since he was reported missing on January 28.”
The Saunders County Sheriff’s Office is handling the crash investigation. They say Schreurs had been involved in a crash in a wooded creek line and was not visible from passing vehicles on the road.
An autopsy is scheduled to determine the cause of death, but foul play is not suspected.
