Lincoln Police are asking the public for help after an injured officer was found injured near 8th and ‘M’ Street following the Husker basketball game Sunday afternoon. In a social media post, LPD said an officer was directing traffic around 5:45 p.m. when she was seen down on the ground.
LPD believes she may have been hit by a vehicle. She was taken to the hospital to be checked out for multiple injuries and doesn’t recall what happened. They are asking anyone who may have been in the area at that time to reach out to LPD with any information so they can investigate further.
