Two people were wounded Thursday just after 6 p.m. at an apartment complex near South 27th and Old Cheney Road.
LPD Officers were called to the location after reports of multiple gunshots in the area and found several spent shell casings. Shortly after that, two adults in their 20s arrived at a local hospital with gunshot wounds, which were believed to be not life-threatening.
An LPD report indicates a third person may have been present, but their involvement is unknown.

Investigators believe there is no ongoing threat to the community.
