Lincoln Fire and Rescue crews found smoke and flames coming from a home near 68th and Leighton around 9:30 Monday night.  LFR Public Information Officer MJ Lierman says firefighters encountered significant hoarding conditions and had to work through large amounts of debris to fight the flames.

Lierman says the house had been vacant for quite some time.   It took about 30 minutes for crews to bring the fire under control.  Damage is estimated at $175,000 and the cause of the fire is under investigation.

No injuries were reported.
