CBS Sports college basketball insider Jon Rothstein reported that Nebraska freshman guard Braden Frager has been diagnosed with a sprained ankle and is day-to-day. Frager sustained the injury driving to the basket roughly three minutes into Wednesday night’s game against Washington. Frager left the floor, was examined for most of the first half, and only returned to the floor in street clothes and with a protective boot on his left foot.

Frager has been a potent part of the Cornhuskers’ school best 18-0 start, tallying 12.2 points per game as a redshirt freshman out of Lincoln Southwest High School. Frager has earned Big Ten Freshman of the Week three times this season. Nebraska is next in action Saturday at 11 a.m. at Minnesota, with pregame coverage beginning at 10 a.m. on KLIN.
