Nebraska softball pitcher Jordy Frahm and shortstop Ava Kuszak were named to the USA Softball Player of the Year Watch List Wednesday. Last season, Frahm was recognized as one of three finalists for the award.
Frahm was the 2025 NFCA Player of the Year and a First-Team All-American and was a finalist for the Honda Award for Softball and the USA Softball Player of the Year award. Kuszak was an All-Big Ten and NFCA All-Mountain region first-team honoree last year.
The Cornhuskers begin their season Feb. 6 against Washington in San Antonio, Texas.
