…WIND ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 9 AM THIS MORNING TO 7 PM THIS EVENING…

1-18-26 NWS B
Northwest winds 25 to 35 mph with gusts up to 50 mph are expected across portions of southwest and west central Iowa and east central, northeast, and southeast Nebraska into Sunday afternoon. Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down, and a few power outages may result.
Snow showers during strong winds may quickly reduce visibility, making driving difficult. Winds this strong can also make driving difficult, especially for high-profile vehicles. Use extra caution.
Another surge of cold air arrives tonight into Monday, bringing Monday morning wind chill temperatures of 5 to 20 degrees below zero.
