Details are scarce about a federal warrant that was served at a multi-unit residence near 32nd and Orchard late Tuesday afternoon. KLIN Media partner 10/11 News reports Homeland Security conducted a law enforcement operation in northeast Lincoln.
Bystanders reportedly told 10/11 it was an ICE raid , but KLIN News has not been able to confirm that. One person was reportedly taken into custody. Lincoln Police and NSP were on the scene but they were focused on peace-keeping. LPD does not take part in arresting or transporting anyone taken into custody for immigration violations.
More details are expected late today.
