A University of Nebraska wrestler arrested as a fugitive from justice in Texas appeared in a Lancaster County Courtroom on Monday. Court documents show AJ Ferrari was wanted in Collin County, Texas for using a vehicle to avoid arrest last October before fleeing to Nebraska.
According to KLIN media partner 10/11 Now the warrant for his arrest was discovered by a Nebraska State Patrol trooper after he pulled Ferrari over for speeding on I-80 near Waverly on Friday night.
Ferrari was released after posting ten percent of the $25,000 bond set by a judge. Ferrari will be back in court in Lancaster County in February.
