Lincoln Police say a woman was stabbed in the back while trying to break up a downtown bar fight on Sunday night. Public Information Manager Erika Thomas says the 23-year-old woman told police she found blood on her shirt after breaking up the fight inside JJ Hooligans near 8th and P Street and realized she had been stabbed.
Thomas says the wound was just below the woman’s neck in the middle of her shoulder blade. She went to the hospital for treatment and and received three stitches. It’s not known what the woman was stabbed with.
