Former San Diego State linebacker Owen Chambliss will follow his defensive coordinator, Rob Aurich, from SDSU to Nebraska. Chambliss committed to transfer to NU Monday after entering the transfer portal.
Last year for the Aztecs, Chambliss started 13 games and made over 100 tackles in Aurich’s defense. The 6-foot-3, 230-pounder would figure to start at linebacker next season as the Cornhuskers shift their defensive scheme from a 3-3-5 to a 4-2-5.
