A 37-year-old Lincoln woman was arrested late Sunday afternoon by Lincoln Police at a residence in the 2300 block of F Street. LPD officers learned Grace Ann Phillips had confronted several juveniles inside the residence while holding a baseball bat.
During the confrontation, she allegedly struck a 13-year-old boy on the hand with the bat. Multiple witnesses reported the incident and provided video recordings that confirmed the assault.
The victim reported temporary pain but no visible injury. Phillips was arrested on 2nd-degree assault and child abuse charges.
