Lincoln Police are investigating a mysterious single-vehicle rollover crash from the weekend.
Around 10:50 a.m. on Sunday, Dec. 21, officers were called to 22nd & Vine Streets on the report that a single car was involved in a rollover accident.
Crash investigators determined the Ford Escape was traveling westbound on Vine, attempting to turn north onto 22nd, before loosing control, hitting a curb, and flipping onto its roof.
Responding officers did not find any occupants in or around the overturned vehicle.
However, officers did contact with the registered owner who reported the vehicle as stolen.
Police say the investigation is ongoing.
