An Omaha man has been arrested following a traffic stop in Seward County on Monday where deputies found more than 17 pounds of fentanyl and other drugs. The sheriff’s office says 56-year-old Howard D. Howard was arrested for three counts of possession with intent to deliver and one count of possession of a firearm while committing a felony.
Sheriff’s deputies found a total of 17.6 pounds of fentanyl, 13.2 pounds of cocaine and 4.4 pounds of methamphetamine. The sheriff’s office says they also found a loaded .38 caliber revolver.
Howard was taken into custody without incident and booked into the Seward County Detention Center.
